The DECHEMA Corrosion Center is part of the DECHEMA Research Institute (DFI), which was established on 1 March 2012 by a group of industrial and private donors. DFI represents the logical continuation of the Research Institute of DECHEMA e.V., which has been in existence since 1961. Since then it has been organised as an independent and non-profit foundation. Thus, we can rely on a unique in-house combination of expertise in electrolytic corrosion, high-temperature corrosion, electrochemistry, technical chemistry and also microbiology.

Our Team of Experts
At the DECHEMA Corrosion Center, more than 30 corrosion professionals develop innovative corrosion protection solutions for materials and process issues in industry. We accompany you in every step of the project and develop optimal solutions for your individual requirements.
