High Temperature Corrosion Testing
Reproducible testing conditions close to the application conditions are required to test the suitability of materials or to qualify materials developments for a specific application.
In our laboratories, a large number of furnaces are available in which isothermal or thermocyclic heat treatments can be conducted in different atmospheres and at pressures up to 20 bar. Additionally, we offer complementary testing methods, e.g. 4-point-bending tests equipped with acoustic emission, creep tests and high temperature tribometry. The combination of these methods allows a comprehensive assessment of the materials for the application in harsh environments at high temperatures.
